Made in the most sumptuous shades of lilac and grey in a silk brocade pattern of intertwined ribbons, this original 1950's halter neck dress is just the piece for your cocktail wardrobe.
The halter neckline frames a sweetheart shaped décolletage with a pointed turned down collar along the top of the bust-line. The fitted bodice boasts curved seams that run from the top of the bodice and join the elegant waistline in a point. The cinched in waistline, sets off the full circle skirt, photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume. The petticoat is not included in the listing.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
