This elegant 1940's ivory rayon satin robe, accented by smocking stitch details and lace accents, is just the piece to welcome to your lingerie collection.
The rounded neckline is edged with a pleated border of white lace, which is framed by a gathered smocking stitch panel which sits along the top of the shoulder line, yokes and sleeves and is finished with a border of white pleated lace. The full-length inset sleeves are set off my internally sewn shoulder pads and boast bishop cuts, which draw in along each cuff in soft pleats beneath smocking stitch panels finished with lace edgings. The robe draws in centrally with concealed hook and eyes along the décolletage. Finished with an elegant longline, which drapes along the silhouette effortlessly

Condition: This robe is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small area of wear to the rayon and three small linear marks along the front left hand side of the robe at hipline height. Signs of gentle rusting to the base of the buttons along each cuff. Two small areas of wear to the rayon along the centre of the backline, these appear as two small holes. These minor details are not overly apparent when the robe is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
