This darling 1940's fine cotton blouse, rendered n the palest shade of pink, accented by white embroidery and lace appliqués, is the perfect piece to add to your daily vintage wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the blouse is framed by a pointed collar, which joins together along the nape with a pearlescent button fastening. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short capped sleeves, whilst showcasing the elegant geometric pattern of the floral lace inserts along the yokes and front of the bodice. These are in turn accented by the delicate floral embroidery. The fitted waistline of the blouse, boasts tailored darts along the front and reverse of the blouse. Finished with pearlescent button fastenings along the backline, this piece truly showcases the design and craftsmanship of the era.

Condition: This blouse is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Gentle colour variation along the top of the shoulder lines, this appears slightly yellowed. A small pink linear mark along the front right hand side sleeve. Gentle wear and fraying to the internal garment label. A small pin sized age mark along the back left hand side shoulder blade area. These minor details are not overly apparent when the blouse is being worn, and only apparent under inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
