This beautiful 1950's ivory and cream coloured saucer hat, is the perfect statement piece to your seasonal wardrobe. The moulded textural rayon cream crown, is contrasted by the wide brim, which is decorated with cream and ivory rayon and rayon velvet roses, set against green leaves and stems. The brim is constructed on a starched netted base and is edged with cream rayon velvet to conceal the wire frame. The internal crown boasts a wire frame concealed by rayon velvet edgings.
That hat has an inbuilt wired frame to add in the stability of the piece, we recommend the use of a hat pin.

Condition: In good vintage condition. A small pin sized age mark along the crown, with a small area of wear to the rayon and a small pin hole. A few very subtle age marks along some of the petals, these are well concealed within the layers of flowers. Gentle wear to the velvet edging along the internal crown. These minor details are not apparent when the hat is being worn. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
