Rendered in the softest of cheese cloth cottons and embroidered in bold primary colours, in shades of blue, green, red, yellow and cream, this wonderful 1930's Hungarian embroidered blouse, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.
Her elegant rounded neckline is decorated with drawn in smocking pleats, and a border of embroidery in a scalloped design. The neckline draws in along the front with a concealed hook and eye, creating a keyhole feature along the décolletage. The short length puff sleeves draw in along the tightened pleated cuffs, decorated with smocking embroidery stitches, that set off the embroidered motifs along the top of the sleeves. The iconic cut of the blouse is accented by a central embroidered motif, and cinches in along the waistband, with tightened smocking stitches, embellished with a border of decorative embroidery.
