This enchanting 1950's green and cream silk dress in an abstract pattern of leaves, set off by a decorative bow panel along the bodice, is the perfect piece to welcome the new season with.
The rounded neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line and short capped sleeves. The fitted bodice, is accented by a decorative central pointed seam panel below the bust-line that joins the bust in tailored darts. The pointed seam is edged with a green silk panel, that runs below the bust and threads through the central panel in a decorative double pleat bow edge detail. The cinched in waistline draws the eye to the elegant line of the skirt, completing this dress in a timeless silhouette.

Closures: This dress fastens at the back with a 17 inch metal zip and a hook and loop along the nape.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small pin hole along the right hand side yoke. A light scattering of pin holes along the left hand side yoke and top of the bust-line. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
