This 1950's lambswool and Angora mix cardigan, rendered in the softest shade of cream and embellished with rounded gold beads, gold glass bugle beads and faceted gold sequins, in a bold bow design, is the perfect piece to keep away the chill.
The rounded neckline is framed by a slim ribbed border, which is embellished with scattered sequins and beads. The shoulder line, sets off the 3/4 length inset sleeves, which are embellished with a pattern of scattered sequins and beads, and finished with trailing bow edges along each side of the top of the sleeves. The cuffs are finished with slim ribbed borders. The elegant cut, is accented by central pearlescent button fastenings, framed to either side by intricate trailing beaded bow designs, framed by scattered gold sequins and beads. The back of the cardigan features a scattered sequin and bead pattern, completing this piece in a truly iconic and timeless design. This cardigan is lined in nylon along the bodice.

Condition: This cardigan is in near perfect vintage condition. A small darn along the right hand side sleeve along the sleeve and bodice sea.m. Light and natural bead and sequin loss which is to be expected and is in no way apparent when the cardigan is being worn. Light and gentle yellowing along the internal label and internal lining along the nape. All mends have been done sympathetically and are not apparent when the cardigan is being work.
