Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's piece is a beauty to behold and never again find.
The rounded neckline of the dress, is framed by a border of gold sequin embellishments, which join a central wide sequin panel that runs along the centre front of the dress. The slim shoulder straps, embellished with gold sequins, set off the sleeveless cut of the bodice, which are edged with gold sequins along each armhole, framing the undulating gold sequin embellished pattern. The elegant straight cut of the dress, is accented by a wide decorative waist panel, which is embellished with gold sequins, silver glass beads, iridescent grey sequins and clear iridescent sequins in linked circular pattern. The flared A line cut of the skirt, is set off by a matching decorative panel along the hemline, in a linked circular pattern, framed by undulating gold sequins, and a slim panel of silver bugle beads, and claw set rhinestones. Finished with a simple single row of sequins along the hemline, this incredible dress is sure to be a favourite in your collection. This dress is sheer, and may need to be worn with a dress slip to conceal ones modesty.

Condition: This 1920's dress has been fully restored. The original dress has been rebuilt upon a blush/nude modern tulle base. The beaded appliqués and panels have been transferred from the original piece and the sequins and beaded panels have also been transferred. This full reconstruction was done to preserve the incredible beauty of this piece as we did not want to see if thrown away. Please be aware that the tulle base is a modern and strong nylon based tulle and not the original 1920's cotton tulle. All the sequins, and beaded details come from the original 1920's dress and the pattern has been copied to exact precision. Some areas of thread lifting to the original beaded appliqués where the circular linked pattern is apparent. Natural bead and sequin loss throughout, which is to be expected. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
