Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's piece is a beauty to behold. On a base of black silk chiffon and embellished with glass beads, this vintage 1920's showcases the incredible craftsmanship of the era.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by wide shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The elegant straight line cut of the bodice, gathers in small pleats along either side of the hipline, accenting the simple black silk chiffon edgings that drape along either side of the skirt line. Embellished with clear glass beads and bold yellow beads, in a design of ornate bows, contoured with blooming yellow flowers and contrasted by a linear beaded pattern. This dress come with its original black silk lining, which is sewn into the dress along the shoulder line. The lining of the dress drapes lower than the outer hemline, completing this piece in a truly iconic 1920's silhouette

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small darn along the left hand side yoke, which sits beneath scattered beadwork so it is well concealed. Very minor bead loss throughout. These minor issues are not visible when the dress is being worn.Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
