This truly mesmerising 1940's bitter chocolate coloured crepe silk blouse, embellished with silver and brown glass lined beads, in a geometric and floral design is the perfect statement piece to add to your vintage collection.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a pointed collar, embellished with a scattering of clusters of glass beads. The simple shoulder line, sets off the 3/4 length inset sleeves, which gather in pleats along each shoulder seam, above internally sewn shoulder pads and are finished with delicate turned up cuffs, embellished with a border of floral beadwork. The front of the blouse, is embellished with a central beaded design, which flares out along either side of the yokes, where gathered pleats drape from below the beadwork and radiate subtly along the bust-line. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching crepe silk belt along the back of the blouse, which draws the waistline in, whilst setting off the incredible button back fastenings.

Closures: This blouse fastens along the back with 26 button and loops, and with a matching crepe silk belt.
Condition: This blouse is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light and gentle colour variation to the crepe silk throughout, this is a natural process for crepe silk. There is a linear age mark along the front right hand side of the hemline, this is well concealed within the colour of the crepe silk and only apparent upon closer inspection.
