This truly iconic 1930's Whiting & Davis gold mesh evening bag, is a true piece of fashion accessory history. The wonderful gold toned metal frame is accented by swirling filigree designs framing the central kiss lock clasp. The feature chain handle, in a gold toned metal, completes the elegant and decorated central design of the bag. The external mesh of the bag joins the gold toned frame with small metal links creating wonderful texture as the gold mesh catches the light and sets off the painted geometric designs in shades of peach, red, pale pink and the softest shade of blue.  This bag is fully lined in pink coloured rayon, with a central compartment
