"Frank Starr" Vintage 1960's Lime Green & Emerald Silk Beaded Dress & Coat Set UK 12 US 8

This truly mesmerising 1960's Lime green and emerald green beaded silk chiffon dress and matching raw silk coat, is the perfect set to add versatility to your vintage wardrobe.

The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a sleeveless cut and medium width shoulder straps. Her illusion décolletage in silk chiffon, sets off the straight cut silk lining along the bust-line. Her fitted bodice, is accented by a cinched in waistline, drawn in by a matching silk covered rope belt, that wraps around the waistline twice and ties in a bow. Her elegant skirt, completes this dress is an iconic shift cut.

Her matching coat, in a raw silk, boasts a V shaped neckline framed by a notched collar that joins the lapels in a cross over cut along the front of the décolletage. Her 3/4 length sleeves, frame the wonderful A line cut of the coat, that boasts Princess seams, and a fastening concealed behind a matching silk bow.

Condition: The dress is in perfect vintage condition, with light and natural bead loss.
The coat is in perfect condition, it appears to have once had a matching button fastening concealed behind the bow, but the button is no longer and the button hole has been sewn up. ( This is in now ay apparent externally)

Fastenings: This dress fastens at the side with a 16 inch metal zip and hook and loop, and along the left hand side shoulder with 3 hook and loops . The Coat fastens with 2 press studs

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned
