A rare set to behold, this original vintage 1930's navy blue knitted set, comprised of a longline cardigan and skirt, rendered in the most classic shade of navy blue, is just the perfect ensemble to add to your seasonal wardrobe. Enjoy wearing it as a set or separately to add versatility to your styling
The rounded neckline of the cardigan is framed by a softly turned down collar. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves which flute elegantly along each cuff. The longline straight cut of the cardigan, features central black button fastenings along the length, framed to either side by the ribbed pattern of the knit.
The matching skirt, sits perfectly beneath the longline of the cardigan and features an elasticated waistband, which is woven into the knit through loops. The straight cut silhouette, is accented by two panels of ribbed pattern knitting along either side of the skirt line. The elegant longline and attention to detail, showcase the incredible craftsmanship and design of the era. This set has an element of sheerness to it and one may wish to wear a slip to conceals ones' modesty.
