Rendered in the most eye-catching combination of greens and reds, in a brushstroke floral design, this original 1950's brocade cotton day dress, is just the piece to welcome the warmer weather with.
The straight cut neckline is framed by a bold red cotton piped edge, which sets off the slim double strand shoulder straps. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts along the bust-line and either side of the front of the waistline. The cinched in waistline, sets off the box pleats along the top of the skirt line, which radiate in soft pleats along the length of the near full circle cut skirt. This dress is has been photographed with a medium petticoat, which is not included within the listing.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure your favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
