Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's filet lace floral tabard dress, is a beauty to behold.
The square cut neckline of the dress is accented by cream silk piping, which contours all the edges of the piece. The simple sloping shoulder line, sets off the short length wide cut sleeves, which are edged with cream silk pipping. The wonderful wide straight cut of the dress, is set off by 4 slits along the front of the hemline, which create three tabard panels, allowing for ease when walking and showcasing the incredible movement of this piece. The back of the dress features a simple straight cut, completing it in an iconic and truly timeless silhouette. This dress is sheer, and may need to be worn with a dress slip to conceal ones modesty.

Condition: This 1920's dress is in near perfect condition. The cream silk piping edges show signs of wear throughout, with fraying and splits. This does not affect the sanctity of piece in any way, and is only apparent upon inspection. A very light age mark along the back of the hipline of the dress. A very minor age mark along the back right hand side of the top of the bodice. A few very minor repairs have been made to the filet lace, but these are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
