"Emma Domb" Vintage 1950's Satin and Sequin Embellished Evening Gown
This incredibly rare and beautiful 1950's evening gown by Emma Domb, is the perfect piece for that special occasion.
Decorated with trailing sequin work throughout on a pink satin background, every last detail is simply perfection.
Her high bateau neckline is framed by a sleeveless cut and a fitted bodice. Her cinched in waistline is accented by tailored seams, that run the length of the bodice, accenting the female form. Her figure hugging skirt line is fitted along the hips and falls into a swooping fishtail cut to the back of skirt, where the drape of the fabric, creates an iconic hollywood silhouette.
The slim shoulder straps and deep V backline showcase the iconic design and tailoring of this piece.

Closures: This dress fastens to the back with an 13 inch metal zip and a single hook and eye
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. With some general wear marks to the satin under the sequins, and some light sequin loss. Some of the sequins have a variation in colour due to natural wear, this creates an ombre affect to the sparkling pattern. This minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable under very close inspection.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
