This truly magnificent late 1950's cream wool cardigan, embellished with a scattered pattern of raised leaf embroidery accented by golden lurex threads and finished with a wide cream mink fur collar, is the perfect piece to add to your seasonal collection.
The open cut V shaped neckline is accented by the shawl cut of the mink fur collar. The simple shoulder line, is set off by the raglan cut bracelet length sleeves, which boast delicate slits along each cuff to the external side, accented by cream ribbon edgings. The edge to edge cut of the cardigan is framed by a box cut, completing this piece in a timeless late 1950's silhouette. The edges of the cardigan are all accented by cream ribbon edgings. This cardigan is unlined.

Condition: This cardigan is in near perfect vintage condition. There is a small and light faint age mark along the right hand side sleeve next to the open slit. A few small scattered areas of wear to the wool weave along the back of the cardigan above the hemline area and along the back of the top of the sleeves. These are only apparent under close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
