The simple shoulder line, is set off by 6 sewn darts along each yoke, which create subtle structure along the bust-line. The short length sleeves feature 2 tiers of frilled cotton, creating a fluttered design. The elegant line of the dress, is accented by central trailing floral embroidery, which is framed by detailed faggot stitches and scattered floral patterns. Finished with a four tiered skirt-line, accenting the flared hemline of the dress, to match the fluttered sleeve design, this truly enchanting dress showcases the iconic silhouette of the era. This dress is sheer and will need to be worn with a slip to conceal ones modesty.

Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. There is a darned area along the central part of the backline below the piped edge. A small darn along the 3rd tier of the skirt along the back . A small darn along the top tier of the skirt-line frill. Scattered foxing and very gentle age marks concealed within the pleats and drapes of the tiered skirt. These are not noticeable when the dress is being worn and only visible upon close inspection. A small darn along the bottom left hand side of the dress just above the tiered skirt line. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
