Rendered in a classic silhouette, this original 1950's vintage Ceil Chapman dress, is the perfect Little black dress for your vintage wardrobe.
The v shaped neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line and full length inset sleeves, finished with concealed zips along each internal side of the cuffs. The fitted bodice, is accented by pleats, which radiate towards the central part of the waist seam, accenting the bust-line whilst drawing the eye to the fitted waist. The elegant skirt-line is accented by a central pleated panel, which drapes from the waistline along the length of the dress, joining the turned in hemline which features small gathered pleats along the length, completing this dress in a truly iconic Ceil Chapman silhouette. The silk jersey skims the silhouette, accenting the form fitting design of this piece. This dress is lined in black rayon.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small pin hole to the silk jersey along the front of the left hand side cuff. This is minor and not apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Fastenings: This dress fastens at the back with a 11.5 inch plastic zip, a hook and eye.
