The bateau cut neckline is accented by a pleated cowl feature, which radiates from the left hand side shoulder line, beneath a pleated loop from which a pleated sash drapes along the front of the bodice to join the central part of the waist seam. The sleeveless cut, sets off the fitted bodice, which is accented by soft pleats from the cowl neckline, and the elegant pleated sash. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the elegant line of the skirt, which boasts pleats that radiate from the central part of the waistline, mimicking the pleated design along the base of the bodice. Finished with a rounded scooped backline, this dress showcases the iconic figure flattering silhouette of the era. This dress is fully lined in acrylic.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with a very faint impression mark concealed within the pleats along the front of the skirt just beneath the waistline. This is not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
