This truly magnificent 1930's gold silk lamé dress, embellished with trailing gunmetal grey and silver beadwork, is a phenomenal piece to add to your evening-wear wardrobe.
The strapless neckline of the dress, is set off by a fitted and boned bodice which boasts a cross-over sweetheart neckline, in detailed pleats to one side that drape along the top layer of the bodice, overlapping the embellishments in gun metal silver glass beads and metal sequins in a floral design surrounded by gold lamé soutache . The cinched in waistline is accented by a side sash that drapes from beneath the left hand side of the waist along the length of the skirt and hangs lower than the hemline. The side sash is embellished with matching beadwork along its pointed hemline, drawing the eye back around to the decadent details of the dress. The elegant bias cut skirt drapes along the silhouette, and is lined in silk satin, which is in turn finished with a soft scalloped hemline.
The dress is boned along the bodice and fully lined in silk satin along the skirt and rayon along the internal bodice.
