This sumptuous 1950's deep purple velvet swing coat, in an iconic jewel tone and swing cut is just the piece to add to your seasonal wardrobe.
The edge to edge cut of the coat is accented by a turned down collar which joins either side of the neckline in turned down lapels, framing the V shape of the neckline. The simple shoulder line, draws the eye to the mid length cut raglan sleeves, which feature a matching decorative turned up band, which runs along the backline and sleeves. The wonderful swing cut of the coat, completes this piece in a wide A line silhouette and is accented by pockets along each side seam. This coat is fully lined in red wine coloured taffeta.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
