This incredible 1950's navy blue crepe silk dress, with small damson purple silk button details is the perfect addition to your timeless wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a statement Peter Pan collar and a simple shoulder line. The 3/4 lengths sleeves frame the fitted bodice which is accented by two parallel lines of decorative small damson purple silk buttons that run from the neckline through to the hemline bordering a central pleat. The cinched in waistline, sets off the straight skirt line which boasts 3 pleats to each side which in turn frame the elegant button details down the middle of the dress.

Closures: This dress fastens to the side with an 11.5 inch metal zip.
Condition: This dress is in wonderful vintage condition. A small shine mark to the front right hand side bodice below the shoulder line, and two areas of colour variation to the back right hand side of the bodice. A light scattering of age marks to the left hand side hemline and some small signs of wear to some of the purple buttons. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
