The strapless straight line cut of the neckline, is accented by a turned down collar that contours the edges of the top of the bodice. The fitted bodice boasts internal boning along each side seam creating fitted structure. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching fabric belt, which is embellished with trailing soutache embroidery and silver claw set rhinestones. The elegant panelled cut of the skirt, photographed here with a medium petticoat, completes this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette.
The matching bolero, boasts a scalloped edged neckline and an edge to edge cut. The simple shoulder line, sets off the wide cut short length sleeves . The cropped length, sits perfectly above the dress and is finished with a softly scalloped hemline. Embellished with trailing soutache embroidery, claw set rhinestones and pearlescent beads, to match the belt, this wonderful two piece set, is sure to be a favourite in your collection.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with a 13.5 inch metal zip and two hook and loops along the turned down collar.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very light water mark along the front right hand side of the skirt line and bodice. This is not overly apparent and only noticeable upon close inspection. Gentle and light wear to the pearlescent finish on some of the beads along the bolero. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
