Rendered in the softest shade of shantung cream silk and embellished with iridescent sequins, rhinestones, pearls and silver beads, this original 1960's cocktail dress by Jean Allen, is just the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.
The softly rounded neckline is framed by thin shoulder straps, which are embellished with trailing beadwork, joining the top of the bust-line in an elegant floral bead and sequin embellished pattern. The sleeveless cut, accents the empire line of the dress, which flares out along the hemline into an A line silhouette. Finished with a cream rayon lining and a side metal zip fastening along the back of the dress, every detail of this dress showcases the iconic design of the era.
