This breathtaking 1930's crepe silk dress, rendered in the softest shade of cream, is a rare piece to behold and the most timeless piece to add to your collection.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by rounded short capped sleeves. The elegant fitted bodice, is accented by pointed Art Deco seams along the bust-line, from which small pleated gathers radiate upwards along the bust. The wonderful line of the dress is accented by the bias cut skirt-line, which skims the silhouette, setting of the cinched in waistline. The fluted hemline of the skirt is set off by triangular panel inserts, which pleat and radiate along the back of the dress, creating a soft rounded hemline. The back of the bodice boasts a cross over detail below the V shaped backline, completing this dress in true Art Deco design.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light and gentle colour variation throughout. A small pin sized hole along the right hand side of the bodice beneath the pointed seam and next to the side seam . Very light and gentle small scattering of age marks along the hemline . These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
