Rendered in the most incredible cream silk satin, and finished with delicate matching covered button and loop fastenings, this magnificent 1930's gown is a true piece of fashion history.
The elegant high cut neckline, pleats softly along the front of the neckline in subtle cowl pleats. The simple shoulder line, draws the eye to the elegant full length inset sleeves, which boast wide pleats along each shoulder seam and end in points along each fitted cuff. The sleeves draw in along each internal side with matching silk satin covered button and loops. The fitted bodice, boasts a curved and pointed seam along the waistline, from which small pleats radiate upwards toward the bust-line. The elegant drape of the skirt-line skims the silhouette in a classic panel cut, which drapes in a rounded train along the back of the hemline. Finished with button and loop fastenings along the centre of the backline, completing this piece in a truly mesmerising Art deco design.

Condition: This gown is in near perfect vintage condition. A very faint age mark along the back left hand side of the skirt line, this is well concealed within the drape of the skirt. A very light and minor mark along the front left hand side of the bodice below the bust-line. Gentle surface scratches to the satin in a few areas of the skirt-line. A few very small pin sized age marks scattered within the skirt. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only visible under very close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Fastenings: This dress fastens along the back of the bodice with 39 button and loops and 14 button along loop fastenings along each cuff.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
