Rendered in the most wonderful combination of cream floral lace and satin, this original 1960's cocktail dress is just the piece for your vintage collection.
The high rounded neckline of the dress is accented by a scalloped and pleated collar, edged with eye-lash details to the lace. The simple shoulder line sets off the full length sleeves, which are edged with scalloped and pleated cuffs, finished with eye-lash details, to match the collar. The elegant bodice, is accented by an internal white bodice beneath the lace, which boasts a straight cut bust-line. The cinched in waistline, is set off by a pale pink satin waist belt, that fastens along the front of the waist with a detail threaded buckle. The black satin skirt radiates in soft pleats from either side of the front of the waistline and along the back, completing the skirt in an A line silhouette.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. There are impression marks to the belt, some yellowing to the satin along the buckle. Light and natural surface scratches to the satin. A small mend to the lace along the back of the bodice. Wear to the nylon lining along the zip fastening of the internal bodice. These are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only apparent under close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
Fastenings: This dress fastens at the back with a 13 inch metal zip along the lining of the bodice and a 6.5 along the back of the skirt, and 6 press studs along the back of the lace bodice. A buckle and hook and eye along the satin belt.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
Fabric: Lace, Satin, nylon lined .
