Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's piece is a beauty to behold.
The rounded neckline of the dress, is framed by a simple shoulder line which sets off the short length sleeves, edges with scalloped floral lace details. The elegant straight line of then bodice is accented by a striped pattern of two difference laces, alternating between a Nottingham leaver lace and a floral embroidered lace, creating a textural and eye-catching design. The dropped waistline, is accented by a horizontal panel of Nottingham leaver lace, which sets off the lightly flare skirt-line, comprised of a striped pattern of lace trim and cream cotton tulle, completing this dress in a timeless and mesmerising silhouette. This dress is sheer, and may need to be worn with a dress slip to conceal ones modesty.

Condition: This 1920's dress is in near perfect condition. There is a small age mark along the base petals of the embroidered lace along the central panel at bust-line height. A small and sympathetic mend to the side seam beneath the sleeve to the right hand side. Gentle thread lifting to the lace edgings along the cuffs. Gentle thread lifting along the lace panels of the skirt-line. A very light and small age mark to the floral embroidered lace along the back left hand side of the dress along the shoulder blade area. These minor details are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
