This truly mesmerising 1940's double eleven red crepe silk gown, embellished with gold beads and scattered gold sequins, is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
Her elegant deep V shaped cross over neckline is framed by gold glass beaded floral patterns along each yoke and scattered gold sequins. The décolletage is accented by soft pleats that radiate up from the gathers along the side of the the waistline, where the top layer of the cross over bodice joins the side seam. Her strong shoulder line is accented by internal shoulder pads, that set off the mid length sleeves, with petal finishes along the cuffs. The sleeves are decorated with matching floral beadwork and scattered sequins. Her cinched in waistline is accented by a matching crepe silk tie, that knots to the front of the waist and is finished with arrow head cut ties, embellished with gold scattered sequins.Her elegant panel skirt, drapes beautifully, completing this dress in an iconic 1940's silhouette.
