Made in 1955 and worn on the 5th of June 1955, this original 1950's pale blue woven cotton dress, with an embroidered cream trailing vine design, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by short capped sleeves, that overlap in a petal like cut along the top of each sleeve. The fitted bodice boasts tailored darts. The cinched in waistline sets off the panelled skirt in a near full circle cut. This dress has been photographed with a medium petticoat for added volume. The dress is along the shoulders and yokes in rayon.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. WH
