A marvel to behold. This original 1930's cerulean blue silk chiffon shawl, with a pattern of blooming florals in shades of, tan, brown, green and dark green, is a rare piece to behold.
The length of the shawl is edged with pastel coloured knotted silk fringing in shades of blue, yellow and pink along each extremity, completing this piece whilst showcasing the wonderful craftsmanship of the era.

Condition: This shawl is in near vintage condition. A few very small and light pin sized age marks throughout. A few small pin sized areas of gentle wear to the silk chiffon throughout. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the shawl is being worn, and only apparent under very close inspection. A few of the silk knotted tassels are shorter than others and show signs of gentle fraying along their extremities. There is a small mend to the edge hemline of one of the side of the fringing. Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or delicately hand washed in cool water.
