This truly spectacular 1930's vintage dress, rendered entirely in a caramel woven ribbon design, showcases the incredible craftsmanship of the era.
The scooped rounded neckline of the dress is edged with a zig zag edge, which is composed of 4 tiered of twisted and folded ribbon work. The elegant short length raglan sleeves join the edges of the neckline. The fitted bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in elasticated waistline, which is accented by a matching woven ribbon belt, which draws together with a belt loop and is finished with ribbon work tassels. The timeless line of the skirt, completes this dress in an iconic 1930's silhouette. The woven ribbon creates a near bias cut design, and allows a certain amount of stretch and give to the dress. This dress is not lined.
