This wonderfully patterned 1950's pleated dress, in a brushstroke pattern in shades of green, chartreuse, brown and grey with white accents, is just the perfect piece to welcome to your seasonal wardrobe.
The wide rounded neckline is framed by a simple border panel, which contrasts the micro pleating along the bodice. The short length sleeves, set off the elegant silhouette of the bodice, which is accented by gathered pleats that draw in along the fitted waist seam. The back of the bodice, is set off by a simple construction, showcasing the wonderful patterned fabric without the pleat details. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the wonderful full circle cut of the skirt-line which is accented by micro-pleats that radiate from the waist-seam along the top of the skirt-line to hip height. These pleats create wider pleats along the drape of the skirt, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette. This dress has been photographed with a medium petticoat for added volume, this is not included with the listing.
