A marvel to behold, this original 1930's couture cream and black rayon blouse, accented by elaborately pleated and constructed bishop sleeves, is a rare piece to behold and the perfect addition to your vintage collection.
The almond shaped neckline, accents the décolletage and is set off by a black rayon turned down collar. The simple shoulder line, is set off by diagonal seams along the front of each yoke. The full length bishop sleeves, are accented by sewn box pleats which begin from each shoulder seam, above voluminous internally sewn shoulder pads, and join each fitted cuff. The fitted cuffs boast zip fastenings along each internal side and are finished with elastic pieces contouring each cuff. The internal construction of the elaborate sleeves is finished with a wide piece of elastic, which draws the sleeves upwards and enables for the full form of the bishop sleeves to be showcased. The simple bodice, completes this piece in a timeless and mesmerising silhouette.

Closures: This blouse has no fastenings, but fastens along each cuff with 7.5 inch metal zips.
Condition: This blouse is near perfect vintage condition. A very light and subtle small age mark along the front right hand side of the blouse below the bust-line. A few small pin sized age marks along the fitted cuffs, these are minor. A small pin sized age mark along the back left hand side of the bodice next to the side seam. A scuff mark to the rayon along the back right hand side shoulder line. These details are not apparent when the blouse is being worn and well concealed by the cut and sheen of the cream rayon.
