The fitted and boned bodice, is fully decorated with silk organza botanical appliqués, drawing the eye to the cinched in waistline and elegant asymmetrical cut of the bodice along the hipline. The elegant full circle cut of the tulle skirt line, boasts 2 layers, which drape elegantly along the silhouette from small gathered pleats positioned along the base of the bodice. Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with a 13 inch metal zip and a concealed hook and loop.
Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Areas of gentle lifting to the silk organza botanical overlay along the bodice. The tulle overlay of the skirt has a few small scattered holes, which have been mended with stitches throughout and are only apparent under very close inspection, these are well concealed within the drape and design of the skirt line. The pink rayon lining of the dress shows signs of wear and age marks throughout. There are two mends to the edges of the pink rayon hemline. A mend to the edges of the tulle hemline, this has been done sympathetically and is not apparent when the dress is being worn. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn.
