This original 1940's dress, made in the most divine black crepe silk with intricate cut out embroidery details and decorative embroidered tassel embellishments, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by embroidered stitching details and a border of decorative cut-out embroidery in a floral design, that joins the simple shoulder line. Finished with embroidered tassel details along the top of the bust-line, with detailed thread fringing completing the embroidery in the illusion of a tassel necklace. The mid length sleeves boast black satin cuffs and small gathered pleats along the top of the shoulder seam. The fitted bodice, sets off the cinched in waistline, which is accented by a waist panel. The panelled skirt is finished a double satin border along the hemline ,completing this dress in an iconic 1940's silhouette.
