Rendered in a classic silhouette, this original 1950's silk rose print brocade jacket, composed of a blush silk background accented by cream silk roses, is a timeless piece to add to your vintage collection.
The round shaped neckline is framed by a pointed turned down collar which draws in along the front of the neck with a concealed press stud, a concealed hook and eye and a button. The simple shoulder line, set off the bracelet length inset sleeves. The elegant box cut of the jacket, is accented with tailored bust darts, which run along either side of the front of the bodice. Finished with clear lucite and inlaid rhinestone statement button fastenings along the central front of the jacket, and lined in tan coloured silk

Closures: 4 buttons, a concealed hook and eye and a concealed press stud.
Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small and light age mark along the right hand side cuff located along the front. Very light thread lifting to the silk brocade along the internal front part of the neckline where the jacket fastens. A larger age mark along the back of the left hand side sleeve. A very faint age mark along the back of the right hand side sleeve. These minor details are not overly apparent when then jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
