Rendered in the most sumptuous shade of blush champagne silk with blush and taupe floral lace accents, this original 1930's blouse is the perfect piece for your vintage collection.
The square cut of the neckline is framed by floral lace appliqués, which join the front of the blouse in a trailing design. The simple shoulder line, sets off the inset short length sleeves, which boast puff design cuts, accented by box pleats along each shoulder seam and embellished with lace appliqués along each cuff. The bust-line of the bodice boasts small gathered pleats which run upwards from the fitted waist-panel, drawing the eye to the silk button and loop fastenings positioned centrally along the front of the blouse. Finished with a cross over design hemline, which fastens internally with a small hook and eye and externally with a press stud, creating a subtle and elegant peplum cut.

Condition: This blouse is in good vintage condition. The last button of the blouse has been previously sewn together in blue thread. There are two small pin holes along the front right hand side of the peplum area of the blouse . A small pin hole along the back right hand side of the blouse. Light and natural impression to the silk throughout. These minor details are in no way apparent when the blouse is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
