This romantic 1930's dress, in a soft floral pattern in shades of blue and cream, with muted olive green accents, set against a blush pink background, is just the piece to add to your seasonal wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by a pale pink rayon satin pointed collar, with a central stylised bow, concealing the top press stud fastening. The simple shoulder line of the dress is accented by gathered stitches along the top of each sleeve, that set off the 3/4 length sleeves, edged with elastic cuffs, that draw the fabric in, in softly gathered pleats. The fitted bodice of the dress, is set accented by concealed press stud fastenings along the centre front, framed to each side with double pleats that radiate upwards from the waistline. The cinched in waistline of the dress, sets off the elegant line of the skirt, which boasts rounded and curved seams from just below the waistband. Finished with a bias cut hemline, and matching rounded and curved seams along the back of the skirt, this dress showcases the incredible tailoring of the era. This dress is sheer and may need to be worn with a dress slip, to conceal ones modesty.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with 4 hook and eyes.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small darn to the woven rayon fabric along the left hand side of the bust-line. A darn along the left hand side yoke just near there sleeve seam. A small darn along the right hand side of the bust-line. Light and natural impression marks and water marks to the rayon satin collar. Two small darns along the front of the skirt-to the left hand side just beneath the waistband. A darn along the central part of the back of the bodice. These minor mends are well concealed within the floral print, and not apparent when the dress is being worn. These are only noticeable under very close inspection.
