This effortlessly chic 1940's bitter chocolate brown silk colour cape, with a pattern of small cream polkadots, is the perfect addition to your vintage collection.
The simple open neckline is framed by a slim softly turned down lapel that runs along the front length of the cape. The elegant shoulder line, is accented by tailored shoulder seams, which boast small pleats, creating a raised detail along the shoulder, an iconic feature of the era. The arm slits positioned along either side of the front of the cape, accent the elegant length, whilst showcasing the iconic design and tailoring of the time.

Condition: This cape is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light colour variation to the polkadots along the right hand side yoke where there appears to be a light age mark. A small central darn to the rayon lining along the back internal area of the cape. A gentle age mark along the top of the left hand side slit, again this is only apparent as the polkadots are light brown rather than cream. A few small scattered age marks along the back of the cape, again these are in no way apparent unless you look towards the cream polkadots.
