This eye-catching 1940's dress, accented by an asymmetrical collar which boasts red and tan rayon fabric, embellished with trailing metal thread soutache and claw set rhinestones, is just the piece to welcome to your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a soft shawl collar to one side and a decorative pointed and threaded panel along the other, creating an asymmetrical feature. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam, which set off the 3/4 length inset sleeves, edged with turned up cuffs, each boasting pointed vents along each internal side. The elegant fitted bodice is accented by horizontal pleats along either side of the front, framing the matching covered buttons, whilst creating a figure flattering silhouette. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the box pleated skirt line, which completes this piece in an effortless and iconic 1940's silhouette.
