This wonderful deadstock 1940's apricot orange linen skirt suit, is the perfect pop of colour for your vintage wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the jacket, is accented by a cross over button detail, where the collar can be pulled through to create an elegant bow like feature. The bracelet length sleeves, are trimmed with turned up cuffs and coordinating button holes with pull through into bow style details. Her shoulder line features shoulder pads sewn into each shoulder seam.
The fitted cut, is accented by curved tailored seams from the bust-line, leading to small pockets on either side of the front of the waist in a notched panel design. The button down front, in pearlised buttons, sets off the cinched in waistline, an iconic silhouette of the time. The simple skirt sits beneath the jacket, and boasts a slight A line cut.
