"Apostrophe Red" Vintage 1940's Red & White Apostrophe Print Robe UK 8-10 US 4-6

£353.00

This original vintage 1940's berry red cold rayon robe with a pattern of white apostrophes, is the perfect addition to your loungewear collection.

The V shaped neckline is framed by wide shawl cut lapels, which accent the cross-over cut along the décolletage, which draws in internally with matching rayon ties and a concealed press stud. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam, which set off the bracelet length inset sleeves edged with turned up cuffs. The elegant cut of the bodice is accented by tailored darts which run up from either side of the waist-line, creating subtle pleats along the base of either side of the bust-line. The fitted waistline is set off by the grey pearlescent button fastenings. The bias cut skirt line, skims the silhouette in an iconic design, finished with a single pocket along the right hand side hipline.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
