This truly eye-catching 1960's dress, rendered in the most vibrant shade of amber yellow woven cotton, set against a white woven cotton bodice, which is in turn embellished with trailing soutache tape work, and milk glass faceted droplet beads, is just the piece for your statement wardrobe.
The bateau cut neckline is framed by a sleeveless cut, and a fitted bodice. The bodice is decorated with trailing soutache embroidery, set off by milk glass faceted droplet beads. The fitted waistline, is accented by a central decorative bow, which draws the eye to the elegant drape of the long A line cut of the skirt. The skirt-line is accented by box pleats to either side of the front of the waistline, which drape into pleats along the length of the dress, completing this piece in an iconic 1960's silhouette. This dress is lined in rayon along the bodice, and cotton along the skirt.

Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Very light yellowing along the armholes of the bodice. A small scattering of age marks along the right hand side of the bodice next to the edge of the armhole. Very light age marks along the internal lining of the bodice. These minor issues are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
