"Amber Lamé" Vintage 1930's Moss Green Silk & Amber Lamé Evening Gown UK 12-14 US 8-10

$1,159.00

Rendered in the most exquisite shade of moss green crepe silk, set off by an abstract silk lamé pattern in shades of amber, yellow and cream set against a black background with gold lamé thread accents, this original 1930's evening gown, is a rare piece to behold.

The deep V cut shaped neckline, is accented by keyhole lamé panels along either side of the décolletage, which set off the cross over cut of the neckline. The simple shoulder line, is accented by moss crepe silk rectangular panels along either side of the shoulder line. The elegant full length lamé and silk sleeves boast open cuts along either side of the top of the sleeves, accenting the draped and pleated cowl design, which is set off by internal silk covered weights. The lamé and silk join each other in an undulating pattern, set off by gold lamé stitches, which draw the eye to the fitted cuff, finished with amber rhinestone button and loop fastenings. The bodice boasts a central pointed seam below the décolletage, which draws the eye to the matching crepe silk belt. The elegant cut of the skirt-line, boasts curved seams along either side of the dress, which accent the silhouette, whilst setting off the fluted cut of the hemline, completing this dress in a truly mesmerising 1930's silhouette.
