This collectible 1950's Suzy Perette silk dress, in a wonderful floral rose print, in shades of grey, chartreuse, brown and bronze, set against a black base, rendered in the softest of silks, is the perfect piece to welcome the new season with.
The rounded neckline is framed by a a turned down collar which cowls softly along the centre front. The simple shoulder line, sets off the mid length sleeves, which boast triangular panels along the underside of the sleeves and armpits. The fitted bodice is set off by tailored darts, which draw the eye to the cinched in waistline. The elegant skirt, photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume, boasts box pleats that radiate along the skirt-line and complete this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette.

Closures: This dress fastens at the back with a 20 inch metal zip and a hook and eye along the nape.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A sympathetic patch mend along the right hand side armpit of the dress.Very light wear to the silk panel that conceals and covers the zip with slight thinning to one area. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
