This vibrant 1950's large wool shawl, with a wide border pattern of wild roses and blooming flowers in the most vibrant shades of yellow, orange, green, blue, pink and red, is just the piece to add a pop of colour to your seasonal wardrobe.
The near square cut of the shawl is edged with cream fringed knotting, whilst the patterned border design frames a scattered floral pattern along the central part of the shawl. Printed on a cream wool base, this wonderful shawl showcases the bright colour palettes of the era.

Condition: This shawl is in near vintage condition. A few small holes and areas of thinning to the wool along the border. Two darns along the floral border pattern, this have been done sympathetically and blend in with the floral design. A few small scattered pin holes to the wool. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the shawl is being worn, and only apparent under very close inspection.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or delicately hand washed in cool water.
