£549.00

A rare piece to behold, this original 1920's silk three piece pyjama set, composed of a jacket, a blouse and wide leg trousers, in the most sumptuous shade of fresh green, accented by white floral silk embroidery, is the perfect set to add to your loungewear collection.

The elegant jacket boasts an edge to edge cut, with a pointed collar detail edged with white silk piping that frames the front of the jacket, hemline and cuffs. The simple shoulder line sets off the full length sleeves, which are finished with white floral embroidered details along each cuff. The box cut of the jacket is accented by trailing floral embroidery along the base of the jacket, detailed with small butterflies with black embroidered accents.

The V shaped neckline of the blouse is framed by white silk pipping and a simple shoulder line that sets off the sleeveless cut, which is in turn edged with matching white silk pipping. The straight cut line of the blouse is accented by trailing floral embroidery along the V shaped neckline, and a small heart shaped pocket beneath the waistline along the left hand side. The hemline is finished with white silk pipping and delicate rounded slits along each side seam. The blouse has belt loops along each side seam, where there would have once been a belt.

The high waisted cut of the trousers is accented by a pointed waistband panel along the front of the waistline, edged with white silk pipping, framed by a mock silk covered button fastening along the right hand side seam, and press stud fastenings along the left hand side seam. The high rise cut, sets off the wide leg design of the trousers, which are finished with wide scalloped openings, and decorative triangular silk embroidered panel inserts, accented by contrasting deco bottle green embroidery.
