The beautiful rectangle shape of the bag showcases a wooden base, painted in a navy blue, with gold toned hardware. The decorative lid is accented by two central wooden daisy appliqués, which are painted white. Framed by a wooden base handle which is in turn decorated by a blue ribbed ribbon. The main body of the bag is designed in a weave of ribbon work, in navy and navy and white polkadots. The base of the bag in a simple navy painted wood. The bag opens to a cotton lined interior with an internal ribbon border .

Condition: In beautiful vintage condition. Light and general wear tot he painted features, with natural scuffs to the navy finish of the painted and light surfaces scratches to the white daisy. Natural wear to the handle and ribbon edged, along the base of the handles where the ribbon has lightly frayed. The base appears to have once had feet which have been unscrewed and left small pin sized holes. The lining of the bag doesn't join along the back side. The bag has some light tarnishing and signs of wear to the metal hardware. These minor issues are not apparent when the bag is being used and only noticeable upon close inspection.
